A birthday party brings together people who don't see each other every day. The photo booth gives them a reason to step in front of the camera together, and by the end of the night you have photos of almost every guest. For birthday photo booth rental in Berlin, we deliver the 030Box, set it up and collect it again afterwards.

A Birthday Photo Booth for Every Age

The photo booth works for an 18th as well as for a 50th or 80th birthday. Grandparents enjoy it as much as the teenagers, and guests who don't know each other start talking while they wait their turn.

Kids' parties: Children from about 8 years can use the touchscreen on their own, younger ones need an adult to help with the countdown. For kids' birthdays we can pack extra colorful props.

Props and accessories: Our props box comes with party hats, sunglasses, wigs, mustaches on sticks, signs with sayings and inflatable instruments. If your party has a theme (80s, Hollywood or anything else), let us know and we'll adjust the selection.

Guestbook: With the print package, guests stick their print into the guestbook and write a message next to it. You end up with a guestbook full of faces.

Package, Setup and Online Gallery

What's included: The Private / Digital package costs €389 plus VAT and includes delivery, setup, unlimited digital photos, the online gallery and the props box. The Event / Print package (€499 plus VAT) adds instant prints (400 postcards included), a custom print layout with name, age or party motto, and a backdrop.

Setup and timing: We usually arrive 60-90 minutes before your party starts. Setup takes about 45-60 minutes, and the box needs about 1 m² of space and a power outlet. After a short briefing the box runs on its own all evening. We collect it the next day or at a time we agree on.

Online gallery: 1-2 days after the party you receive a link to all photos in full resolution. Depending on the settings, the gallery stays online for 10 to 90 days, or up to a year on request, so your guests have time to download their pictures.

Light ring and camera: The light ring around the round screen glows in the color of your party, and the Canon DSLR keeps faces sharp even in dim party lighting.

We know you have better things to do on event day than run cables. That's why we work exclusively with full service, for weddings, birthdays and company events in Berlin.

1. Check Availability

Check the calendar to see if the 030Box is still available on your date and send an inquiry.

Check availability: The calendar on the website shows which dates are still free and which are already booked.

With one click you send a non-binding booking request. We reply within 24 hours, usually much faster, and confirm whether your date works.

Personal consultation: Questions about layout design, setup location, technical details or special requests? We're happy to advise you. Every location is different, so we look at yours and find a setup that fits.

Cancellation and rescheduling: Cancellation is free up to 30 days before the event. From 30 to 14 days before, 50% of the total is due, after that 100%. Moving to another date is usually possible.

2. Full-Service Delivery

No self-pickup. We deliver, set up, brief you and collect the box the next day or by arrangement.

Delivery & setup: We usually arrive 60-90 minutes before your event starts. Setting up the 030Box and testing everything takes about 45-60 minutes. You don't need to prepare anything, and we can bring a barrier rope if you like.

On-site briefing: After setup we show you (or someone you trust) how the box works. It takes about 10 minutes, and after that every guest can use it without help.

During the event the box runs on its own. If something does come up, which is rare, you can reach us by phone.

Pickup: We collect the box the next day or at an agreed time and take everything down in about 30 minutes. All that's left for you is to enjoy the photos.

3. Party Hard

Your guests take unlimited photos and boomerangs and print their favorite shots right away.

Unlimited photos: With 50 guests or 300, everyone can take as many photos as they like. There are no per-photo fees.

Instant prints in under 10 seconds: Shortly after the photo is taken, your guest holds the print in their hands, color-accurate and with your own layout (logo, date, personal text).

Various modes: Besides classic photos there are boomerang loops (4-image sequence) and mosaic collages. Guests choose the mode themselves.

Props & accessories: We bring a selection of classic props (glasses, hats, signs). You can also bring your own or ask for themed props.

4. Digital Gallery

1-2 days after the event you'll receive a link to a password-protected online gallery with all images.

All images in high resolution: After the event we upload all photos to a private online gallery. These are the original shots in full resolution, not the print versions, so they work well for sharing or reprints.

Password protected: Only you and your guests (with the password you set) can open the gallery. Nothing is published publicly.

Download & share: Guests can download single images or all at once. Depending on the settings, the gallery stays online for 10 to 90 days, or up to a year on request, so please save your photos in time.

Additional features: If you like, the gallery can be opened via QR code at the party. We can also run a slideshow on a screen so everyone sees the latest shots live.

Postcards (10×15cm): 400 prints included, one high-quality print per photo.

Photo Strip Flatrate (5×15cm): Unlimited prints during the event, up to 32 strips per photo.

Expecting more guests? No problem! Additional prints can be easily ordered in advance.

Digital Package Benefits

Unlimited Photos: There is no limit on photos, your guests can take as many pictures as they like. All photos are instantly available digitally and can be shared via QR code or email.

Service Area & Travel

Free Delivery: Within our main service area (Berlin & Brandenburg) delivery is included.

Other Locations: For locations outside, from 10 km distance from the nearest delivery point, we charge a fair travel surcharge based on distance and travel time. We're happy to provide you with a custom quote.

Secure Payment

Deposit: 30% upon booking confirmation to reserve your date.

Balance: Due no later than 7 days before your event.

100% Security: In case of a complete failure on our part (has never happened!), we refund the deposit proportionally.

Privacy & User Consent

Everything you need to know about the 030Box for your birthday

What age is the photo booth suitable for?

Any age. The touchscreen is quick to explain, so it works at an 18th birthday just as well as at an 80th.

At an 18th or 21st, guests like to grab their photos straight onto their phones via QR code. At a 30th or 40th, it is often the old group of friends squeezing in front of the camera together, and at a 50th or 60th you get family photos across several generations.

Kids' birthdays: From about age 8, children can use the booth on their own. With younger kids, it helps to have an adult nearby to press the button. For children we pack extra colourful, funny props.

How much space does the photo booth need?

Less than most people think. The 030Box is a round screen with a light ring on a slim stand:

- Footprint: approx. 1 x 1 metre
- Recommended area: approx. 2 x 3 metres, so guests and props have room
- Power: a normal socket (230 V)
- Height: approx. 1.8 metres, fits in almost any room

That works in a living room, a party basement, a restaurant, a club or a rented venue. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the room beforehand and we will tell you where the booth fits best.

Can I customize the photo design?

Yes. We design a layout just for your birthday. It can include:
- the name and age of the birthday person
- your party theme or a slogan
- colours that match your decorations
- a logo or your own graphics, for example for a themed party

After booking, send us your ideas, we prepare 2-3 drafts and you pick one. On request, we set the booth's light ring to your party colour. The custom layout costs nothing extra.

Does the photo booth work outdoors?

Yes, as long as it is protected. We need:
- a roof over the booth, such as a tent, gazebo or covered terrace
- a power socket no more than 20 metres away
- firm, level ground, no lawn and no sand

With that, garden parties, terrace birthdays or a party on a Berlin rooftop work well, and in summer many people ask for exactly that. If you do not have a gazebo, we can bring a tent as an extra.

Completely unprotected outdoors is not possible: rain, wind and direct sunlight on the screen are too much for the equipment.

Which props do you bring?

A props box with around 50 items: glasses, hats, wigs, signs and inflatable instruments. At a birthday things can get a bit crazy, and for kids' parties we pack especially colourful items.

If you have a theme, say the 80s or Hollywood, let us know beforehand and we will put the selection together accordingly. You are welcome to add your own props. Everything is cleaned after each event.

How does the birthday with the photo booth work?

We usually arrive 60 to 90 minutes before the start, and setup takes about 45 to 60 minutes. Then we briefly show you, or someone from your group, how everything works. From then on the booth runs by itself: guests tap the screen, pose, and with the print package the print is ready in under 10 seconds.

We usually pick the booth up the next day or at a time we agree on. 1-2 days after the event you receive the link to all photos. Depending on the setting, the gallery stays online for 10 to 90 days, or up to a year on request.

How much does a photo booth cost for a birthday?

Packages start at €389 plus VAT. That includes delivery, setup and pickup in Berlin, the Canon DSLR with 24 megapixels, unlimited digital photos, the online gallery, the props box and the light ring in the colour of your choice.

If your guests should take prints home, choose the Event/Print package from €499 plus VAT, with photo printer, 400 prints and your own print layout. Either way you rent the booth for a full day, not by the hour.
